The success of this initiative depends on the action of individuals like you. Without your support, we will not be able to bring this important issue before the voters at the November 2008 election.
In order to qualify this initiative for the ballot, we must collect 433,971 signatures by the end 
of April 2008. This may seem like a lot, but in reality it represents only 5% of the number of votes case in the last gubernatorial election.

First of all, you can talk to the people at your local health food store about the initiative, and encourage them to order a signature gathering kit from us. Ordering is free, and it's a great way to help get the word out.
You can also download and print supporting materials directly from our website. Just scroll down to the bottom of the page and follow the links. With these materials you can go out and collect signatures yourself, becoming a central part of the democratic process.
Or, if you are able, you can make a donation to the campaign. All money donated will be used in accordance with the guidelines set forth by California’s Fair Political Practices Commission.
But the most important thing you can do to help make supplements tax deductible in California is to SIGN THE PETITION! You can sign at your local health food store, or if you prefer, you can print a single signature page, sign, and mail it to us.
